DECEMBER 2025 ANONYMOUS SURVEY

At the beginning of our campaign, we sent out anonymous surveys in the Greater Seattle area, and received the following responses:

We saw that the two biggest factors affecting students’ mental health were academic pressure and fear of the future.

Academic pressure referes to the pressure to constantly be stressed and look busy.

Fear of the future refers to the hopelessness of feeling like you’re never doing enough to achieve your goal.

We also saw that students were generally more comfortable reaching out to friends for support.

12.5% of people were fully comfortable reaching out to friends, with only one person saying they were not comfortable at all. 46.9% rated it 4 or higher.

No one answered that they were fully comfortable reaching out to trusted adults, with 25% of respondents saying they were not comfortable at all reaching out. 21.9% rated it 4 or higher.
