Welcome to Free Listening!
This is a platform created by the makers of Support Exchange, made for all the teens in the area that feel lost, burned out, confused or tired in your life — because being a student, especially here, can be difficult.
Here’s what we provide:
- Safe, friendly, non-judgmental listening for and from high school students in Bellevue!
- Our own website platform where users are fully anonymous at both ends of the chat!
- A team of open, thoughtful respondents, for anything you need to get off your chest!
Here’s what we don’t:
- Professional psychiatric help – sadly, we’re not licensed! 😦
- Free pizza (because of our anonymity policy, we wouldn’t know where to deliver it!)
- We strongly encourage you to read our disclaimers and guidelines before proceeding, located at the bottom of this page.
Here’s how it works:
A step by step guide to finding a listening ear for all the little things in your day:
- You (an anonymous user!) get started by clicking the “Free Listening App Link” button, which takes you to our app, hosted on Glide Apps.
- You will not be asked for a name or even a nickname — only an email. Moderators DO NOT access this email.
- You send a message through the home screen of our app, and a listener will get back to you within 48 hours.
- You can view replies and reply back through the app, which is accessible on mobile and PC.

Disclaimers – “the fine print”:
We are not licensed psychiatric professionals nor are we qualified to provide psychiatric assistance. We are not capable of diagnosing or treating you for psychiatric disorders and we are not qualified to prescribe or provide psychiatric medication.
Our app is hosted on the app builder Glide Apps, a third party platform — which may store small bits of data such as an email. Please refer to Glide’s Privacy Policy for more.
We may access the email attached to your account, if and only if you have communicated to us that you are in a situation which presents a clear and potentially life-threatening harm to yourself or others, or you are conducting illegal activity through our service (this doesn’t apply to discussing past illegal activity but rather proactively carrying out crimes on our platforms).
We are minors and the limitations on content which may be submitted through our service are limited to that which law says may be communicated to minors. Do not use our service to communicate sexually explicit imagery.
